UN Women Training Centre has opened registration to the Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB) course in Spanish. It will take place in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic from 18 to 23 February 2018 at the UN Women Training Centre. The face to face training will enhance the conceptual, strategic, analytical and practical skills of GRB practitioners to inclusively and equally analyze and manage governmental and/or institutional incomes and expenditures.
Expert GRB facilitators will present the global context on GRB as well as good practices. Participants will gain knowledge on tools that can be used during the budget cycle and understand the methodology to apply them. They will also have a space to exchange their own experiences and practices to identify possible strategies in their context to start or improve GRB activities.
Governmental policymakers and development practitioners -including United Nations staff supporting GRB initiatives, researchers, civil society and advocates- who are keen to enhance their knowledge of GRB are encouraged to fill the application form by 31 January 2018.
