UN Women prepared this manual to aim public administrators and municipalities workers in Honduras by providing conceptual and methodological elements that enable them to incorporate gender perspective in the budgeting process.

The manual will help the participants to be familiar with the concept of gender and make a critical reading of the different terminology used. Specifically, they will: Assimilated the basic definitions related to equality between men and women and mastered key concepts of gender analysis field. Reviewed key processes, gaps and entry points that key players can used to ensure that gender equality is evident in the development plans national.

This document corresponds to a fifth product of the international consultancy for the development of a Gender Strategy Plan 2014-2017.
