The document is presented in the framework of Financing for Gender Equality (F4GE), with European Union funds, specifically in the project of cooperation and assistance between UN Women and the Women Solidarity Commission (CCMS). It is a social monitoring report made to the City of Santa Rosa de Copan budget in the fiscal year 2013.
The report contains the findings from the oversight process, in addition to comments obtained at the conference held socialization and validation between the CCMS, Local Government and the Transparency Commission.

Support for gender responsive policies, programming and budgets has been an important priority area of UN Women’s Sub-Regional Office for Central and South Eastern Europe. In 2011, the Sub-regional Office launched a three-year project on Promoting Gender Responsive Policies in South East Europe (PGRP-SEE) financed by the Austrian Development Agency. The project covered Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and FYR Macedonia.

Ethiopia has prioritized the advancement of gender equality through the development and implementation of the first National Policy on Women in 1993 followed by the promulgation of Constitution in 1995 that calls for equal rights of women, including
Affirmative Action to bridge existing gaps. Ethiopia has revised gender discriminatory legal provisions in the Family Law and Penal Codes, showing a firm political commitment to gender equality and the advancement of women.

The manual will help the participants to be familiar with the concept of gender and make a critical reading of the different terminology used. Specifically, they will:
Assimilated the basic definitions related to equality between men and women and mastered
key concepts of gender analysis field.
Reviewed key processes, gaps and entry points that key players can
used to ensure that gender equality is evident in the development plans
national.

UN Women prepared this manual to aim public administrators and municipalities workers in Honduras by providing conceptual and methodological elements that enable them to incorporate gender perspective in the budgeting process.

Selection of  methodological materials  including gender mainstreamed  versions of  Budget call circular for gender responsive budgeting of programme budgets  for 2014 and 2015, Guidance note on considering gender aspects in the process of developing  programme based  budgets, list of suggested  indicators for budget analysis, sample assessment of the impact of budget policy  on diminishing salary gaps for women and men.
