Description
This Report seeks to make an assessment of policies and practices related to gender-responsive budgeting, by highlighting what was already accomplished and what remains to be done, and by identifying challenges, constraints, opportunities and sectoral challenges. The Report is therefore an educational and advocacy tool aimed at triggering debate and dialogue around policies pursued and their impact on the population, in pursuance of the orientations of the Prime Minister who recommends in his framework letter on the 2007 Finance Bill that the gender approach be incorporated as part of a management style focused on results.
