Based on UN Women's experience supporting the implementation of Gender-Responsive Budgeting (GRB) in both developed and developing countries, the UN Women Training Centre, in coordination with the Leadership and Governance Section and the financial support of the Government of Spain, has developed a GRB Training course for basic, intermediate and advanced level participants in three languages, i.e. English, Spanish and French.
This course seeks to support the integration of gender-sensitive governance frameworks at the national and local level, and provides students with the necessary tools to promote the participation of women and women's advocates in key planning and budgeting processes in their countries and abroad. The material and approaches are based on lessons learned and the institutionalization of GRB in several countries.
