UN Women Training Centre has opened registration to the Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB) course in Spanish. It will take place in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, from 18 to 23 February 2018 at the UN Women Training Centre. The objective of this report is to review and analyze the impact of the major sectoral programmes to identify some areas of intervention to better take into consideration the gender dimension in the design of public policies.Six new government departments which have adopted gender-sensitive budgeting are covered by the 2008 Gender Report, bringing their total number to 17 departments.
